Meet the Pastor

Living Cornerstone Fellowship is led by Pastor Barry Nelson and his wife, Julie. Barry is native to Delphos and met Julie after her family moved to town when she was a sophomore in high school. They married shortly after Julie's graduation in 1976.  By the grace of God, 45 years later, they have three grown children and seven grandchildren. 

The Nelsons were founding members of LCF before attending Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1986. Following their graduation from Rhema in May of 1988, they moved to Farmington, New Mexico. During these early years of ministry, they gained experience leading young-adult Bible studies, youth programs and children’s ministries at Carson Faith Assembly -- located on the Navajo reservation -- and Living Word Church in Farmington. In June of 1992, the Lord led them back to Delphos where they began pastoring LCF in August of the same year. The have been at the pulpit of LCF ever since and have true hearts for the Delphos community and surrounding areas.
